Water Sports on the James River

The Marina at Kingsmill offers more than just a place to tie up. It’s easy access to a day spent on the water, taking in the best views of Williamsburg’s attractions. Get your adrenaline fix as you zip along on your own personal watercraft or slow things down and spend a relaxing day cruising on a pontoon boat.  Note that water temperatures will affect all rentals except fishing equipment.

Jet Skis
- Driver must have a valid driver's license to rent and operate jet ski.

Pontoon Boat
- Cruise with a captain or drive yourself with a temporary license! Make it a sunset escape or an afternoon cruise. 
- Rentals start at 9 AM
- If you choose not to use a captain, driver must be 18 years of age with a valid driver's license 

Kayaks & Paddle Boards
- Choose from a single kayak, double kayak or a paddle board and explore the James River! 

Fishing
- Enjoy a family fishing day on the shores of our Marina beach, or head out on a Charter Boat Tour! We offer onshore and offshore options for fishing fun. 

Marina Services

The Kingsmill marina features annual boat slip leases for boats up to 80' (depending on beam width), concrete floating docks, water and power connections (30Amp and 50Amp), bathroom and shower, dockside fuel service and a harbor shop. Kingsmill also offers dry storage facilities with secured access to residents of the community.

We have games like cornhole and volleyball you can rent and take to the Marina, and you can even schedule a firepit to be ready on the beach for you and your crew!
